The Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling Covid-19 said that there are still around 57 districts / cities that still have a high risk of Covid-19. The government will provide full support for these areas. This was stated by Chairman of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling Covid-19 Doni Monardo during a press conference at the Presidential Palace complex, Jakarta, Monday (29/6/2020).
“There is some emphasis to provide support for 57 city districts that are still at high risk,” said Doni.
President Joko WIdodo (Jokowi), emphasized Doni, also emphasized that the government can prioritize these areas by involving all relevant stakeholders.
“Especially elements of the TNI and Polri, in mitigation efforts, in an effort to reduce risks. Including the assistance of a number of regional figures, both religious and community leaders,” he said.
“Including involving anthropologists so that each region has characteristics and potentials, what needs to be done so that we can all reduce the rate of adding cases,” he explained. Doni revealed that so far there had been changes in the areas identified as being in the red zone. “In just 23 weeks, the red zone area can change from 108 to 57,” he said.
