IceIceIce taking a break, Forev ‘Patch’ the Temporary Hole Fnatic!

Lee “Forev” Sang-don recently announced his departure from T1. After some time, he returned to the competitive scene despite playing a role as a patch for Fnatic, who was left behind by the quirky offlaner, Daryl Koh “iceiceice” Pei Xiang.

Iceiceice decided to take a break for a while until the new Pro Circuit season rolled around. Until then, Fnatic will play Forev along with their new carry, Marc Polo “Raven” Luis Fausto, who actually used to be in Fnatic’s costume during the Mushi era.

Forev and Raven’s first test on their new team is ESL One Thailand 2020 on 20 August. A total of 12 strong participants will compete fiercely in the event and Fnatic is one of the invited participants. Several rivals also helped boost Fnatic’s progress to become champions such as TNC, the Indopride BOOM Esports team and Geek Fam.

Also attending to complete this tournament were contestants from the Chinese region, namely the Sparking Arrow Gaming team and Aster Aries. The last 2 participants were determined through open qualifiers starting August 13-14 for the China region and August 15-16 for SEA participants.
