DreamHack Delays 9 Offline Event Agenda to 2021

Covid-19 forces DreamHack to rearrange the agenda for the events they have prepared this year. The corona pandemic that has not subsided does not convince DreamHack that the event can run safely if it is held at this time.

It is recorded that there are nine events that will be moved to 2021. Among them are DreamHack Rotterdam, DreamHack Hyderabad, DreamHack Atlanta, DreamHack Winter and DreamHack Madrid from the original schedule. Some of these events are supposed to take place in October, November and December 2020.

DreamHack Co-CEO Marcus Lindmark said “The goal of all of us at DreamHack is to provide a pleasant experience at our events, which develops through a sense of sharing and love from the community for fastival weeks around the world.”

He added in his official announcement, “We never have to postpone an event like this. But these are extraordinary times and the safety of the audience and staff has never been more important than now. “

Previously, there have been three events that have moved to next year’s schedule, namely DreamHack Dallas, DreamHack Summer and DreamHack Montreal. The full schedule, location and date will be announced soon this year.

Wow, it’s really a shame that DreamHack has to stop because of Corona, hopefully next year the pandemic can be overcome and events can run normally.
