Washington: Democrat Joe Biden urges American Muslims to use their votes in place of President Donald Trump. Joe Biden wants to make all Muslim Americans voice heard and according to Joe Biden, all Muslim American voices has to be included in the decision-making process as rebuilding the whole nation. He spoke at an online summit organized by advocacy organization Emgage Action to mobilize Muslim voters ahead of the presidential election. Biden also reiterated his promises to overturn Trump’s administrative ban on travelers from several Muslim-majority countries, calling it “vile.”
Wa’el Alzayat, CEO of Emgage Action, said by email that the organization is trying to maximize the number of American Muslim voters in the main battle countries, some American Muslim elected officials have supported Biden for president in a letter organized by Emgage Action before the summit. Emgage Actions titled the program “Million Votes Muslims”, highlighting its focus on increasing Muslim participation in November. Joe Biden said: “The voice of American Muslims is important to our community, to our country, but we all know your voice is not always recognized or represented.” In his speech, he vowed to include the voice of American Muslims in his government and to denounce human rights violations against Muslim minorities across the world and among other Biden goals, he vowed to cancel travel bans that affect Muslims since “The First Day” if he was chosen.
